JIU JITSU

Training is geared towards ground and submission training with its focus on technique.

We emphasize good technique, mobility, pressure and leverage awareness over sheer strength. It involves making your opponent give up or submit by threatening chokes and body joint locks. Jiu-Jitsu can also be referred to as submission grappling.

This class is broken down into a warm-up, technical training and live grappling with a partner. Grappling can be useful for self-defense, sport or mixed martial arts.
