Matt Lindland seminar
We had a great turn out for coach matt’s seminar this past Saturday. Over 50 participants turned out to learn MMA techniques and tactics. The seminar started with punching combinations utilizing pressing footwork. We then moved right in to clinch work and takedowns. The final section of the seminar covered some submission and ground and pound once you took your partner to the floor. It was a great progression of techniques that perfectly illustrated the different aspects of MMA.
Robert Follis seminar
Speaking of MMA, Coach Robert is hosting a seminar geared specifically to MMA for members on Saturday, January 10th. Members are also encouraged to bring a friend. The seminar is free. We are asking that participants bring in canned food and also coats and blankets for the clothing drive that team quest is currently hosting. Coach Follis is one of the best MMA coaches in the world and this is a great opportunity to learn directly from him.
Kids make up class
Coach Eric will be holding a 1 hour make-up class on Saturday January 10th. The class will be at 10:30 am.
Rumble at the Roseland
Also on January 10th we have some of our top up and coming amateur fighters competing downtown at the Roseland Theater. Tickets are available at Safeway fastixx locations. These shows always sell out so make sure to get your tickets right away.
